Installation & Operation
Pleased to report that no gross problems presented themselves during the installation and first operation of this version. FYI, I have been using NovaStor for backing up for many years.
My system is an HP Pavilion Elite Desktop 140f w/8GB memory, 2TB storage, running Win7 Elite. CPU is an Intel 650@3.20GHz. The system is partitioned into 8 drives, 7 of which are internal (about 2 years old).
I always set NovaStor for weekly backups on Fridays -- 12:30AM through 3:30AM to backup my 7 drives to an 8th external 1.5TB used for backup. At this point, Beta 12.5 appears to be functioning normally. There was no problem installing and it backed up as scheduled and without errors.
But, previously saved setup data regarding backups, though still available after installation, did Not FUNCTION properly. After resetting the backup data, all was backed up properly, as scheduled.
Have found nothing other to report.
