Simi Valley, Calif. — April 26, 2000 — NovaStor Corporation announces the release of a new version of their NovaNET tape backup software family, NovaNET for Linux. NovaNET for Linux offers users a cost effective and powerful backup software solution for all of the popular Linux distributions. NovaNET for Linux is available in three versions ranging from support for a single server with a local tape drive, to a network of multiple Linux servers and Windows workstations with multiple tape drives. All versions include free autoloader support and remote management from the administrator’s desktop. NovaStor has also added Linux support to their award winning NovaNET Alliance multi-operating system backup software which also supports Windows 2000/NT and NetWare.
