InstantRecovery End of Life Notice

In order to provide a seamless data backup and disaster recovery solution, NovaStor Corporation is announcing the end of life for the Instant Recovery product line effective December 1, 2004. NovaStor is currently developing integrated disaster recovery functionality with our next generation NovaBACKUP product to provide a more complete and comprehensive backup experience which will be released to the general public in Q1, 2005. As of this date we will no longer sell Instant Recovery. The product will be supported through January 31st 2005. There are no plans for any new features, bug fixes or other enhancements to this product. Version 4.1 is the final release of the product.
Technical Support
NovaStor will provide technical support for this product until January 31st, 2005. This support will be during our normal technical support hours of 6am-6pm PST. After that time the product will no longer be supported.
Refunds and Returns (until January 31st, 2005)
End Customers
End customers who experience issues we are unable to resolve may elect to get a free NovaBACKUP upgrade with the new Disaster Recovery module when released, or may fill out an RMA Refund form for a refund of their purchase. All refunds require proof of purchase price. Customers who received a copy of InstantRecovery free with their NovaBACKUP purchase and who have had registered, unresolved technical support requests regarding InstantRecovery software also have the option of a free NovaBACKUP upgrade with the new Disaster Recovery module when released.
Resellers
Resellers who have customers that own InstantRecovery and have support issues can request the refund for the end customer. In this case both the reseller and the end customer must sign the InstantRecovery Refund form.
Distributors
Distributors with InstantRecovery product in stock can rotate that stock for other NovaStor products.
Last Time Buy
There are no planned last time buys for Instant Recovery.
Transfer of Product line
After January 31, 2005, the InstantRecovery product line will not be transferred to or supported by any third party.
