How to Backup a SQL Server Database
You may be wondering, “will backing up SQL server databases using NovaBACKUP be easy enough for me to do myself?” The answer is Yes. It’s as simple as selecting the database you want to backup, selecting where to backup to and setting your backup job schedule.
Under the Backup tab you will the Microsoft SQL server plugin. On the right hand side, just select the database you want to back up. In the example, we are backing up the database called ManagementServer.
Next you will need to select the destination of your backup. In the lower left-hand side of the screen, you will see a button called Backup to. Simple click this button and navigate to the location you would like to save your backups to.
