Sales Development Representative – Solutions Team

NovaStor is looking for a highly motivated and driven self-starter to increase the qualified lead pipeline of new opportunities through a high volume of outbound calls. Persistence and excellent interpersonal skills are critical to success. The ideal candidates will regularly screen leads generated by a variety of sources, conduct sales conversations, outbound prospecting and set up qualified appointments for sales representatives. The position is an extension of the Sales organization working in close collaboration with Sales/Account Executives. The role will also establish prospecting plans for strategic accounts to uncover new business.

Responsibilities

  • • Be a hunter. Cold Call/Email leads.
  • • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing technology.
  • • Identify appropriate people to reach out to.
  • • Develop qualified sales opportunities and set demo appointments for sales executives.
  • • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within defined territories and market segments.

    Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities, demos and appointments.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
  • • Minimum 2+ years of B2B software telesales.
  • • Manage email database to ensure all entries are up to date (e.g. lead becomes a customer – manual update)
    Able to write succinct, crisp and thoughtful emails.
  • • Possess a strong phone presence and superior communication (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • • Have been in a consultative and solution selling environment with proven ability to nurture and qualify leads.
  • • History of effectively managing a large territory, high volume of leads and building/maintaining relationships.
  • • Capable and eager to make 50+ calls a day.
  • • Systematic but flexible, self-directed; can prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • • Perseverance; handles objections and rejection well.
  • • Thrives in a competitive team-oriented environment.
  • • Knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, discipline and focus.
  • • Above all, possess the highest level of ethics and character.
